Spring Cleanse – “Our cells are like fish, only as healthy as the water they swim in.” ~ Crazy Sexy Cancer

Start to focus on cleaner living with simple changes to your nutrition. Know it is not the amount of calories you are eating, but the quality of foods, you are offering yourself, and the metabolic enhancing effect these foods have on your body. If you don’t know what’s in your food, how do you think your body is going to digest it?  See added files for suggested recipes, but feel free to substitute ingredients as long as they adhere to the “no’s” and the general 2-3-2 rule.

Protein

Be sure to add sprouts, lentils, beans, nuts to your week cleanse to keep the protein level up.

The 2-3-2 is a system I developed as it worked with my body. It might not be right for you, but give it a try, and let me know how you fare? The idea is that you initially cleanse for a week to kick-start your cleaner living. It is short enough (one week) that you are not necessarily overwhelmed, but long enough that you feel the effects on your body. I realize it takes 21 days to rid your body of stubborn toxins and cravings for sugar etc but this is a perfect start for anyone wanting to try living cleaner.
